What We’re Ordering: Blue 9 Burger

A burger and fries from Blue 9 Burger makes for the perfect lunch.

California may have In-N-Out, but New York City’s got Blue 9 Burger! In a city inundated with burger options such Shake Shack and Five Guys, the fact that this East Village burger shop has such a strong fan base proves testament to their quality of their product. Blue 9 truly prepares one of the New York’s great burgers, and is luckily available for your eating pleasure on Delivery.com.

Burgers are not something that I would typically have delivered, so I was a little cynical at first. However, these burgers made me a believer: Blue 9 ensured that each sandwich was perfectly prepared. I sampled the Medieval style burger, which I am convinced is on par with In-N-Out’s Animal style burger. Just to even out the playing field, I added Thousand Island dressing to my Medieval burger, which is reminiscent of the California chain’s legendary “secret sauce.”

After removing the pickles and tomatoes, I thoroughly enjoyed this perfectly prepared patty. The Thousand Island dressing is a delicious condiment, with the cool lettuce and grilled onions adding a nice crunch. My only complaint was that the burger wasn’t big enough for me to savor, and I found myself craving another bite or two!

While many burger shops overlook their fries, Blue 9 most certainly did not. There was just the right amount of salt and seasoning on the fries, allowing me to bask in the potato taste. Despite the soft interior, there was still a reasonable amount of crunch for that “fried” taste.

So, the next time you’re craving a burger, skip the lines at Shake Shack and order from Blue 9 Burger on Delivery.com!
