Be An EpiCUREan!

Think pink when you dine out in October!

What’s better than delicious food? Delicious food for a good cause! October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we want to give a quick shout out to a couple merchants who are doing their part to help!

The American Cancer Society’s “Be An EpiCUREan” campaign is enlisting the help of restaurants in New York and New Jersey in their effort to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. For the entire month of October, all of the restaurants involved in the campaign are serving up one special pink-hued item. All of the proceeds from these items – mostly cocktails and desserts – will be donated to the American Cancer Society to fund breast cancer research, education, advocacy and patient service programs.

You can check out the entire list of participating restaurants here, and make sure to take note of these two merchants:

  • Brasserie Les Halles | Plum Sorbet with Shortbread Cookies
  • Ditch Plains | Item is TDB (This spot is known for their famous Ditch Dogs…hot dogs are kind of pink, right?)
