This restaurant on St. Mark’s Place in the East Village is well-known for its tasty hot dogs and with 17 of them on the menu, there is something for everyone. If you want the classic Crif experience, go for the Crif Dog, a naturally smoked beef and pork dog that you can customize with as many toppings as you want. If you’re feeling more adventurous, try one of the other signature dogs on their menu, like the Chihuahua, a bacon-wrapped dog topped with avocado and sour cream, or the Morning Jersey, a Taylor ham-wrapped hot dog with melted cheese and a fried egg. There is even a meat-free dog for veggie-lovers!
