Always a delivery favorite, Chinese food always makes for a great takeout meal. One of the best Chinese (and Japanese!) spots in the Los Angeles area is 88 Chinese & Sushi. Their menu features authentic Chinese fare, and tasty sushi rolls to go. With its huge range of Asian cuisine, everyone can find a delicious dish to order in for lunch or dinner. Take a cue from many of your neighbors and order from our restaurant of the week, 88 Chinese & Sushi.

This eatery does Chinese classics right – from their lo mein, to their fried rice and dumplings, the result is absolutely delicious. If you are craving some sushi or sashimi, 88 Chinese & Sushi has an abundance of those as well! Try the Santa Fe roll if you’re feeling adventurous – it has honey mustard chicken, bacon, and avocado. It sounds strange, but we promise its delicious. For those who order the California roll every time, no worries, this restaurant excels at both the simple and bizarre sushi combinations.

Here’s a couple other of their popular delivery dishes:

  • Orange Chicken: Made with spicy, white meat chicken.
  • Shrimp and Snow Peas: Served with brown rice.
  • Crouching Tiger Roll: A shrimp tempura roll topped with salmon.
  • Combination Sashimi: Choice of: salmon, tuna, yellowtail, albacore, shrimp or red snapper.

  • LOL..I suppose we don’t order fried rice at sushi joitns but that’s alright. If it’s on the menu, have at it! People think I’m odd because I only get veggie sushi. We have some really cool spots here in Long Beach that are really good and unique. I think we’re due for a sushi date actually! I was afraid me and the mrs. were becoming the 8 o’clock couple but we do go out on weekdays sometimes so we’re kinda in the middle.
