NYC Wine & Food: Ordering Wine on Delivery.com

This year’s New York City’s Wine and Food Festival has come and gone but don’t fret, we covered some of the best wines that were showcased this year! And better yet, you can order them directly on Delivery.com.

There was a plethora of wines and spirits featured this year so we decided to focus on white wine this time around, specifically three Sauvignon Blanc’s that tickled our palettes.

Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, elegant, and fresh wine that pairs well with fish, cheese, and even sushi. The green-skinned grape used to make Sauvignon Blanc is believed to have its origins as an indigenous grape from South West France. Today the grape is grown all over the world including France, Chile, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.

The next time you need to pair a white wine with your dinner, try out one of these delicious Sauvignon Blancs that we tasted at the New York City Wine and Food Festival by ordering online from your local wine shop on Delivery.com!

2011 Ferrari Carano Fume Blanc:

This crisp white wine has “citrus, mango, kiwi, and lime aromas” that “are complemented by flavors of vanilla, guava and grapefruit.” Plus, “subtle oak character from barrel aging adds great complexity and depth.”

Where to order: 10th Ave. Wine & Liquors in NYC or Ace Beverage in D.C.

2011 Cupcake Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc:

This vibrant Sauvignon Blanc “is reminiscent of a lemon chiffon cupcake.” (yum!) The flavors of “Meyer lemons and Key limes” pair perfectly with seafood dishes, like “oysters on a half shell or with a rich, creamy lobster risotto.”

Where to order: 10th Ave. Wine & Liquors in NYC, Capporino’s News & Liquors in Hoboken, NJ or Madison Wine & Liquor in Greenwich, CT.

2009 Miller Ranch Sauvignon Blanc:

The fruity flavors you taste in this “medium body, medium acidity” wine come from “ripe grapefruit and honeydew melon.”

Where to order: Beekman Liquors in NYC
