No matter how fast delivery is, the time between placing an order and hearing a knock on your door can feel a lot longer when you’re hungry.
That’s why we’re rolling out text message updates. Now, when the restaurant or store begins working on your order, we’ll shoot you a text with a status update that includes an estimated delivery time.
If you want to opt into getting text alerts, you can check the corresponding box on the checkout page before you place your order:
Once you check (or uncheck) the box, we’ll keep that as your default setting. But you’ll always have the option to change your selection before an order, and you can always change your default setting by going into the Profile section of your Account page.
No more being in the dark about your delivery. And no more pausing Netflix to call and ask, “When’s my order coming??”
